The Chaîne des Foyers Saint-Nicodème works with the most vulnerable children and youth to provide shelter, listening, protection, education and reconstruction. Founded in 1996 by Sister Marie Roumy, a Spiritan nun, the organization is based in Douala, Cameroon.

You can donate online via our secure donation page (credit card or Campay Mobile Money), by bank transfer, or by contacting the management directly via WhatsApp or email. Every donation is traceable and comes with a receipt.

We support children and young people living on the streets, in social exclusion or extreme poverty in Douala. Our programs target boys and girls aged 6 to 18, orphans, young survivors of violence and families in difficulty.

Sponsorship consists of a regular monthly contribution that directly funds the schooling, food, healthcare and support of an identified child. You receive regular updates about the child and an annual follow-up report.

Yes, visits and volunteering are welcome after prior contact with the management. We welcome a variety of skills: education, healthcare, communications, accounting, etc. Contact us to learn more.

Funds directly finance field activities: housing, food, medical care, schooling, vocational training and psychosocial support. We publish regular transparency reports available on request.

Yes, Chaîne des Foyers Saint-Nicodème is an officially recognized non-profit organization in Cameroon, founded in 1996 by Sister Marie Roumy, a Spiritan nun. It is apolitical, non-denominational in its social work, and a member of national and international partner networks.
