Our Mission

Getting children off the streets, protecting and reintegrating them.

Since 1996, the Chaîne des Foyers Saint-Nicodème has worked in Douala to offer a dignified future to the most vulnerable children and youth.

Our Vision

A human response to vulnerability

Founded in 1996 by Sister Marie Roumy, a Spiritan nun, the Chaîne des Foyers Saint-Nicodème is a Cameroonian social organization, apolitical and non-profit. It supports street children and vulnerable youth through shelter, protection, education, vocational training and family and social reintegration.

For over 28 years, the organization has been present in Douala, at the heart of Cameroon, with 5 centers and services dedicated to child protection.
